Do you use poetry in your classroom? I created this set of winter SIGHT WORD POEMS to use in Kindergarten. I have included winter, Christmas, Presidents Day, Groundhog Day, and Valentine's Day in this set. These poems are perfect for shared reading in kindergarten because they are simple and predictable! These poems are full of sight words, which makes them easy to use during a sight word of the week routine. I will bind them together to create a poetry notebook. You can write these poems on chart paper or display them on a smartboard as you teach them. After completion, will keep them in our book boxes and pull them out as a familiar read later in the year.
