Pumpkin Math Craft for Halloween

Are you looking for a fall or Halloween craft that is educational and engaging? Check out my pumpkin and jack-o'-lantern crafts! 🎃 These crafts practice number recognition, number ordering, and shapes. These are all kindergarten skills.

This craft is very simple to complete. Students cut out and order numbered strips. (perfect for working on fine motor skills) They glue the numbered strips on construction paper to create the craft. These make an adorable Halloween display for your classroom!

If you choose not to create a jack-o'-lantern, you may like this plain pumpkin version. Students do the same exact thing to create a pumpkin. They cut out the strips and order them by number.

Halloween Sight Word Poems for Shared Reading

Hello Friends!

🎃Fall is just a few days away, and that means that Halloween will be here before we know it! Do you celebrate Halloween in your classroom? If you do, you may like these Halloween themed SIGHT WORD POEMS!

🎃These sight word poems are predictable, full of sight words, and perfect for new readers! I will print these poems, bind the poems together, and create a poetry notebook for my students. I will write the poems on chart paper, and then my students will help me find and highlight the sight words that we are working on.

These poems include a variety of sight words, but each poem focuses on one or two sight words for new readers. These poetry notebooks are perfect for small guided reading groups, whole group shared reading, or even reading homework for your students.

Grab these sight word poems here for your classroom! They are available as a digital download which means you can purchase them and download them instantly to print.
